Sunbelt Software engaged Osterman Research to survey organizations that are using five different email management systems including Barracuda Spam Firewall, GFI MailEssentials, McAfee GroupShield for Microsoft Exchange, and Symantec Brightmail and Sunbelt Ninja Email Security.
Security is the most single critical task for any email administrator. Starting with a foundation of anti-spam and anti-virus capabilities, organizations should focus on other capabilities, as well, including policy management and a variety of other tasks designed to protect the network and the company from external and internal threats.

The Department of Homeland Security puts businesses in two categories: those who have already experienced the pain of losing valuable electronic data, and those who will at some point in the future. Well-prepared businesses know that deploying the right resources, processes and technology to protect vital HR information is important, but having adequate resources and technology in place to protect the same invaluable data in branch offices is just as important, though often overlooked. This paper will teach you how real-time data replication software can automatically backup branch office data to a central server for a simpler, more reliable and cost-effective way to protect your branch.
PassMark Software® conducted objective performance testing on eight (8) security software products, on Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (64-bit) during January 2014. This report presents our results and findings as a result of performance benchmark testing conducted for these endpoint security products.
The aim of this benchmark was to compare the performance impact of Webroot’s SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection product with seven (7) competitor products.
Seeing traditional security software become too big and too much of a burden on endpoint devices, networks and IT staff, Webroot decided to start fresh. We built a new type of security software that completely does away with old-school approaches like signature downloads, the need for constant updates and big footprint client software.
The result is Webroot SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection, the fastest, least disruptive and most effective endpoint protection - ever.
PassMark Software® conducted objective performance testing on eight (8) security software products, on Windows 8.1 (64-bit) during July and August 2015. This report presents our results and findings as a result of performance benchmark testing conducted for these endpoint security products.
The aim of this benchmark was to compare the performance impact of Webroot’s SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection product with seven (7) competitor products. Testing was performed on all products using 13 performance metrics, including: installation time, boot time, CPU Usage, Memory Usage, Browse Time and many others.
Does your endpoint security measure up?
Webroot SecureAnywhere® Business Endpoint Protection is the next generation of endpoint security. It's smarter, faster, more effective, and easier to use and deploy than traditional solutions. Learn about our unique approach to endpoint security and more in our complimentary eBook.

Affecting over 200,000 machines in more than 150 countries, the ransomware known as Wanna Decryptor, or “WannaCry,” became the largest cybersecurity attack in history in May 2017. The malicious software locked out users from critical data, and demanded a ransom payment to unlock the contents. Governments, hospitals, and corporations scrambled to address the attack and prevent the infection from spreading. Ironically, the virus’ execution method was simple: it exploited a vulnerable Windows SMB protocol to spread – an exploit Microsoft had addressed two months prior to the attack with the release of a patch.
With the introduction of sophisticated threats such as advanced phishing and malware, authentication can become less effective. Authentication methods can be bypassed by fraudsters and traditional risk-based authentication solutions can cause many users to be unnecessarily challenged and disrupted, yet do not manage to reduce fraud. As fraud rises, there is a strong need for fraud tools that can detect account takeover and fraudulent transactions. IBM® Security Trusteer™ Pinpoint Criminal Detection software offers a next generation approach that helps address the challenges of traditional risk engines.

Cybercrime is more sophisticated and dangerous than ever before, and the scope of newly emerging threats is unprecedented.
At the same time, the growing number and diversity of endpoints in the enterprise is expanding the network edge to the point of disappearing. Both these trends will continue with ongoing bring your-own-device (BYOD) initiatives and explode with the emerging Internet of Things (IoT).
Upgrading security systems to meet both current and future needs is no small feat. So when a Texas-based surveillance system integrator began work with a large national nonprofit foundation on its 20,000 square foot park-like property, existing infrastructure and future system deployment were primary considerations. With the objective to update the nonprofit’s Virtual Management Software (VMS) while leveraging existing analog and IP cameras, the system integrator needed a cost-effective solution to meet their current needs with the ability to scale for rapid growth.
Download this case study to learn more about how the system integrator engaged with NUUO, a leading NVR and VMS manufacturer known for seamless integration of 3rd party cameras to build a customized system that would suit the nonprofit’s needs.
According to Forrester, organizations spent $1.5 trillion globally managing IT last year. 75% of this was spent on silos, legacy systems that still don't get answers to the most important questions: troubleshooting outages, investigating security incidents, and demonstrating compliance. Learn about the innovative software product forward-thinking organizations are using to dramatically improve their productivity and change the way they manage and secure IT.
Today’s malware authors continue to increase their capabilities faster than security solutions can adapt to them. Whether it’s changing their attacks or hiding malicious code within web pages, it’s more difficult to identify legitimate network traffic. With first-generation network security devices, it is nearly impossible to defend against today’s threats. The situation will get worse before it gets better. Adversaries now utilize agile development and testing methods to develop their malware, they test new malware against the latest security software to increase effectiveness. Next-generation network security devices are emerging that provide the visibility and situational context required to meet today’s threats. These solutions use security automation to provide a sophisticated solution that is both lightweight and agile
